GPF promises better returns in 2009

 He said the fund has closely monitored internal and external factors to reduce investment risks and maintain the target return.

 He admitted that the 2008 crisis has been the worst-ever, and funds worldwide could not escape the calamity. He noted that the GPF was affected, but it would be short term.

 It was reported that the GPF lost Bt13.5 billion in 2008.
