Finance perm sec Suparat convicted of criminal offences
Finance Ministry permanent secretary Suparat Kawatkul is among six top officials guilty in an improper appointment case.
The National Anti-Corruption Commission has ruled that Suparat and four former government officials had committed criminal offences in appointing four deputy director-generals at the Revenue Department.
The commission said that Suparat and accomplices pre-selected the appointees and caused damage to other applicants.
