Rubber plant in Trang suspended

Thai Union Rubber Plc's plant is temporarily shut down, pending the fixation of fire-prevention system.

Fire erupted at the plant on Jan 3 due to overheating, costing damage about Bt5 million.

Trang Governor Sompong Anuyuthapong said an investigation team would investigate and decide when the plant could resume operations.
