Further NZ sell-off

ING Property Trust, a New Zealand investor in commercial, industrial and retail buildings, says it has sold another four properties for NZ$15.1 million (Bt294 million) as part of a strategy to reduce its debt.

ING has now sold 13 properties over the past year, bringing in NZ$89.5 million, an average 7-per-cent discount on their book values last March, the company said.

Separately, the company has leased a fifth property rather than retain it for redevelopment. It was considered prudent to "reduce risk by deferring the development," ING said. - Bloomberg
