
According to the filing to the Securities and Exchange Commission, Viriya sold 847.15 million shares or 7 per cent of N-Park's registered capital to Yupayao Boonsom and Sitthinaree Larpthananukul on December 29.
N-Park yesterday the third quarter net loss of Bt1.3 billion. Its nine-month net loss in 2008 was Bt1.7 billion, compared to the Bt2.43 billion net loss in the same period last year.
Chumpolpat Puldrapaya, N-Park's official authorised to disclose the company's information, said in the statement to the Stock Exchange of Thailand that in the third quarter, total revenue dropped 59.84 per cent to Bt55.16 million from Bt82.20 million. However, the net loss incurred from the provision of Bt385.70 million for payment to Ocean Life Insurance Co Ltd, following the Southern Civil Court on November 7. Moreover, the company also witnessed a drop in the value of investment in Finansa Plc, Bangkok Metro Plc, Sansiri Plc, and Syntec Construction Plc. The impairment loss totalled Bt667.78 million.
