Malaysian man allegedly killed by wife's Indian lover

Kuala Lumpur - An Indian man allegedly stabbed and slit the throat of his lover's husband during a heated argument over the affair, a newspaper said Friday.

The 40-year-old victim was believed to have confronted the suspect on Wednesday at a local market in the capital Kuala Lumpur, when a scuffle broke out between the two men, the Star daily said.

The suspect, an Indian national in his 20s, took out a knife to stab, and then slit the victim's throat, the report said. He was arrested shortly afterwards.

The report said the victim's wife and the suspect have had an affair for several months.// dpa
