Wannarat chosen to head Ruam Jai Thai


Nakhon Ratchasima MP Wannarat Charnukul was elected as the new leader of the Ruam Jai Thai Chart Pattana Party on Friday.

The party held an assembly to choose a new 15-member executive board after Chettha Thanajaro stepped down as party leader.

Wannarat said Kasemsan Weerakul had b een elected as the new party secretary-general; and the new spokesman is Theppasit Prawahanawin.

Chettha was pressured to resign after he voted for the Pheu Thai camp in the prime minister's election while other Ruamjai Thai MPs voted for the Democrat camp.
