IDC reported that Oracle continues to hold more market share than its two closest competitors combined in the SMB and large enterprise categories in 1H 2008.

Organizations of all sizes across key industries such as manufacturing, retail, healthcare, transportation, communications, financial services, oil and energy, government and education continue to adopt or expand implementations of Oracle Database to power their critical business applications.
