I'm proud of him and understand he will have less time for family : PM's wife

PM's wife; Pimpen Vejjajiva said she will give full support to her husband Abhisit who became the premier on Wednesday but she will continue her career as a lecturer at Chulalongkorn University.

She was speaking after the royal appointment ceremony on Wednesday.

A publicity-shy figure, Pimpen gave a brief interview and said she would continue to talk to him regularly and would give him full support.

Pimpen did not foresee any change except that she is aware that Abisith will be busy as the country is facing many problems.

Abhisit first met Pimpen when she was a primary school student at Chulalongkorn's Demonstration school. They got married in 1988 and have two children, Prang -a girl and Pannasith- a boy.
