Toyota expects flat growth in December
By The Nation
Toyota Motor Thailand expected flat growth in vehicle sales in December, though it has been the month with highest activities each year. Easing political conditions should buoy the industry, but pulling it down could be concerns on the global crisis, said Vuthikorn Suriyachanthananon.
Vehicle sales in November at 46,068 units dropped 20.2 per cent on year, as local consumers were concerned about the US financial crisis and domestic political conflicts, according to Toyota Motor Thailand.
The November sales have been sliding for sixth consecutive months, to the lowest level in the year. - The Nation
