
GFPT's board approved the compa¬ny's planned borrowing of up to Bt2 billion, including an amount for repayment of short-term loans from directors and connected persons that will become due next year. The main purposes for which the sum will be used are: investment in GFPT Nichirei (Thailand); capital expendi¬ture of the company and its subidiaries for farm construction, in order to produce and supply chicken meat to GFPT Nichirei; adjustment of the company's financial structure; and working capital.

Financial Group, the new holding company of Tisco Group in place of Tisco Bank following a shareholding restructuring, has signed a sharepurchase agreement for Primus Leasing, which provides hirepurchase and whole sale financing services for Ford, Mazda and Volvo. Primus Leasing has assets of Bt8.5 billion.
