Pro-Thaksin Shinawatra activists filed a police complaint yesterday against the People's Alliance for Democracy for seizing control of Bangkok's two airports.
Weng Tojitrakarn and Sant Hathirat, members of a pro-charter amendment group, asked acting police chief Gen Prateep Tanprasert to invoke the law on air transportation to take criminal action against 24
PAD leaders.
Sant said the occupation of Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports caused damage to the country and disrupted public travel.
They submitted the complaint through Maj Gen Manoo Mekmok, the National Police secretary.
They also called on police to move against the ASTV satellite TV channel for violating the Broadcasting Act of 2008 by inciting people to commit crimes against the royal institution and the state.
