AOT to sue PAD for over Bt60 mn per day

Airports of Thailand's board of directors raised the possibility of filing compensation lawsuits against People's Alliance for Democracy.

The board resolved that the PAD should be liable for damage of Bt64 per day for the shutdown of Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports.

Acting President Serirat Prasutanond said that preliminary damage survey showed that Suvarnabhumi lost Bt50 million a day, Don Mueang Bt10 million and other airports Bt4 million.

Earlier, Thai Airways International's board also backed the plan to sue PAD for damage of about Bt20 billion when the airports were shut down during November 5 and December 3.
