The Office of Archaeology chief Tharapong Srisuchat and his team yesterday conducted an initial inspection of the four buildings, constructed more than 50 years ago and were registered as national ancient sites.
He said no significant damage to the structures was found so far but they have not inspected all the rooms inside the building as some were locked. After obtaining permission to inspect the buildings, he said he would send officials to do a detailed inspection on Monday and, if significant damages were found, the department would file lawsuits against those involved.
