Snoh and Chettha emerged contenders for premiership
MP Paijit Srivarakan of Isaan Pattana faction on Thursday circulated two party leaders as an alternate option if the disbanded People Power Party failed to nominate a suitable candidate for the position of prime minister.
Paijit said it was possible for the coalition alliance to endorse either Pracharaj Party leader Snoh Thienthong or Ruam Jai Thai Chart Pattana leader Chettha Thanajaro to lead the next government.
He said he remained upbeat that the disbanded ruling party could reached an agreement on who will be prime minister.
