  • POSTCARDS FROM VALENCIA>>  On the final night of Fallas, around midnight on March 19, the falles are burnt in huge bonfires. This is a climax to the whole event, and the reason why the constructions are called falles or torches.
  • POSTCARDS FROM VALENCIA >> L’Ofrenda Floral. Valencians offer flowers to the virgin. This occurs all day on March 17 and 18. The virgin’s body is then constructed with the flowers.
