SAP & PTT ICT Collaborate to Cultivate IT Talent in Thailand

SAP Thailand announced a partnership with PTT ICT to introduce a training program on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) with the shared goal of cultivating IT talent in Thailand. Open to all students pursuing their 3rd and 4th year of bachelor's degree or any year of master's degree in fields related to software and IT, the program titled "SAP SOA University Certification Program in Collaboration with PTT ICT" provides Thai students with training on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Business Process Management (BPM).

Sutat Wongvanich, executive vice president, Solution and Consulting Delivery of PTT ICT Solutions, said, "We recognize the importance of human resource development to meet growing manpower demands and ensure an effective workforce for the future." He added that it is particularly important to encourage and develop students in the 3rd and 4th year of their bachelor's degree as well as those pursuing their master's so that they are well equipped to effectively start their careers, especially those specializing in the fields of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems as well as other fields related to software and information technology. 

The SAP SOA University Certification Program in Collaboration with PTT ICT launched in collaboration with PTT ICT will offer Thai students free training on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and SAP solutions that help organizations to adopt and deploy SOA over a 2-day course. At the end of the course, participants who pass a basic closing exam will be presented with a certificate of attendance which can be presented as part of their application for employment or internship opportunities.

"We chose to focus on SAP SOA for this training program because it provides the basic framework              by which programmers and businesses can gain increased flexibility when reconfiguring and implementing and implementing business processes to stay competitive and achieve operational excellence."                                    

SAP SOA University Certification Program in Collaboration with PTT ICT is currently offered in 2 Levels and consists of both theoretical as well as guided hands-on exercises:

1. Level 1 SAP SOA Technology Day - Provides basic training for students with no prior knowledge of SAP solutions and focuses on SAP solutions that are related to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). 

2. Level 2 SAP SOA Business Process Management (BPM) Day - Tailored to students who have some basic knowledge or have used SAP solutions before and focuses on SAP solutions that are related to BPM.
