
AOT Acting President Serirat Prasutanond said it is now up to airlines when they would fly their empty planes out of the airport.
During 7pm and 11pm of Sunday November 30, a number of 18 aircraft left the airport. Additional 19 departed in the morning of Monday December 1. Of total, 15 belongs to Thai AirAsia, 1 Qantas, 1 Druk Air, 2 Orient Thai Airlines.
The first to leave the airport was Siam GA, followed by Bangkok Airways'. Bangkok Airways have flown 15 planes out of the airport and PB Air 2.
Of 88 aircraft parked at the airport since the protesters took control of the airport, Thai Airways International owns 29, Thai AirAsia 16, Bangkok Airways 15, and others - including China Eastern Airlines, All Nippon Airways and Singapore Airlines - 22.
