AIRPORT SHUTDOWN

Some airlines move to U-Tapao

U-Tapao International Airport in Rayong on Thursday accommodated chartered flights of Siberia Airlines and Transfino.

An officer at the airport said no more international airlines have approached the airport for emergency landing, aside from the contact of Bangkok Airways for the landing of 8 more flights.

He added that nine flights departed U-Tapao on the day, 7 belonging to Bangkok Airways and two by Russian airlines.
