AOT Acting President Serirat Prasutanond said that AOT has asked for the Civil Court's injunction on Don Mueang Airport, as a security measure to protect passengers and officers in the area. The company on Wednesday won the court's injunction for Suvarnabhumi, but protesters still remain at the airport.
Some 3,800 passengers checked in on Wednesday but could not board the planes.
Serirat said they must approach their airlines for their baggages, as AOT officers could not get into the areas to check the baggage. He also noted that damage to both airports are not yet evaluated as officers could not enter the areas.
It was reported that protesters got into THAI's Lounge on the third floor. While some equipment is damaged, some items have been missing.
Suvarnabhumi now accommodates 700 flights a day and Don Mueang accommodates 200 flights a day.
