"They should walk outside the protest area and see what they will meet with,'' Karun, an MP from Don Mueang District said.
The MP denied reports that he hired motorcycle gangs with intent to assault the PAD protestors gathering at Don Mueang Airport. "I instructed my people not to interfere with them. Let them seize Don Mueang till they are exhausted,'' he said.
Early Tuesday morning, a group of motorcycle taxi drivers wearing "anti-dictatorship" red-arm bands drove their vehicles opposite Don Mueang Airport. The PAD had been tipped off that Karun mobilised his supporters to harass the PAD protestors.
"I talked to senior figures in my parties and they told me not to interfere with them. If there are clashes, I do not want to clash with the PAD people because they have been dragged into it. But I want to challenge the PAD leaders to walk out of the protest site, they will know what they are in for,'' Karun said.
