
A committee of representatives from 19 children's rights agencies selected the six for years of children's welfare promotion even when their jobs didn't call for it, Kitti Saman-thai told the 19th Children Rights Stage event yesterday.
Apirak was named in the "politician" category, actor Thaenkhun Jitissara in the "media" category and Walapa Neelaphaijit, president of the Foundation of Islamic Centre of Thailand's Muslim Women Volunteer Group, in the "religion" category.
In the "private social development" category, Vanna Saen-ngam got the nod for work as assistant to the director of the Youth Development Centre, while Samut Prakan non-formal education official Kullathorn Lertsuriyakul and social development expert Mal-ai Poreekaew from the Social Development and Human Security Ministry were named in the "civil servant" category.
