Three killed, one injured in deep South
Gunmen shot dead three people and seriously wounded a teacher in spate violence incidents in the Thailand's deep South, police said. Monday.

Gunman riding pillion on a motorbike drove up from behind, firing three shots at Prasarn Chairaj, 49, a teacher in Pattani's Nong Chick district Monday morning. Prasarn survived the attempt on his life but was in critical condition.
On Sunday news agencies reported a 28-year-old man was killed in Yala province, a 42-year-old man shot dead in Pattani province, while suspected militants also killed a 49-year-old village chief in a drive-by shooting in Narathiwat province.
