SHIN CORP reported the postponement of a plan to increase the number of its free-float shares in the Stock Exchange of Thailand, citing the unfavourable global and local economic conditions.

Cedar Holdings and Aspen Holdings hold a combined 96 per cent of Shin, which has restricted its free float to only 3.76 per cent. The SET requires listed firms to free float at least 15 per cent of their stock in the market.

PTT CHEMICAL's board appointed Police General Nopadol Somboonsub and Somchai Kuvijitsuwan to replace Olarn Chaipravat and Tongchat Hongladaromp as directors, effective from November 14.

TIPCO ASPHALT's board appointed Herve Le bouc to replace Alain Marie Albert Dupont as a director.

IRPC's board approved the resignation of Goanpot Asvinvichit as company director, effective yesterday. It appointed Lersuk Chuladesa as his replacement, effective today.

PTT EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION reported that Diamond Petroleum, a wholly owned subsidiary, had been closed down on November 3 as it no longer operated any activity.
