Boonma Iamwiset, chairman of Starwell Business (1998), said yesterday that the company had expanded into real estate with the establishment of the Starwell Bali subsidiary. The company has already invested in its first two projects in Nakhon Ratchasima.
The first is a Bali-style resort, located on a 20-rai plot in Khao Kiew, targeting customers seeking weekend resort accommodation.
The company's another project is on a 9-rai plot on Bypass Road Km8 and will be divided into two phases.
The first phase, which required an investment of Bt50 million, covers 54 resort units, which are already in service at rates of between Bt900 and Bt1,500 per night.
The second phase, occupying 4 rai, will be a 150-room hotel, including seminar and function rooms. The project will require investment of about Bt100 million and construction will begin next August.
