BANK OF AYUDHYA posted a sharp drop in quarterly net profit to Bt1 billion, from Bt2.88 billion in the same period last year.

SIAM CITY BANK returned to the black in the third quarter with earnings of Bt1.3 billion, compared to a net loss of Bt3.97 billion a year earlier. It attributed the turnaround to one-time provisioning in the third quarter of last year, which reduced the need for additional reserves in this year's third quarter.
