Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra had earlier threatened to spell out the names of his political enemies through phoning into the Truth Today programme.
The abbot said he would reach understanding with the organisers not to say anything that would create negative consequences to the temple because the "yellow shirt" group was expected to attend the event also. "I built this temple with my own hand, I will not destroy it,'' he said.
He said senior monks had warned him about having the show orgainsed in the temple. "I explained to them. I do not want to be like prawns that have shit full in the heads,'' he said.
The abbot said he would preach the audience on the protest and give suggestions on how to bring peace to the country. "I believe the organisers would listen and accept my conditions since they have been instilled with moral values,'' he said.
The temple has been getting phone threats since it accepted to have the show organised there. Police and the military have inspected the area as part of security measures.
