RATCHABURI ELECTRICITY GENERATING HOLDING posted a net profit of Bt2.07 billion in the third quarter, up from Bt560.68 million in the same period last year.

THAICOM reported a net loss of Bt114.96 million in the third quarter, compared with a net profit of Bt3.14 billion in the same period last year.

ADVANCE INFO SERVICE posted net profit of Bt4.53 billion for the third quarter, up from Bt3.51 billion in the same period last year.

The company's board has approved capital reduction in its 98.55-per-cent owned subsidiary, Digital Phone, a network operator of 1800 MHz GSM, to Bt4.39 billion from Bt14.62 billion.

   The number of shares will be unchanged with a reduced par value of Bt3.

   The board has also approved capital increase in its wholly owned subsidiary Advanced Wireless Network from Bt1 million to Bt350 million at a par value of Bt100 a share.

   The company also approved the dissolution of its 49-per-cent owned subsidiary Data Network Solutions, a service provider of online data communication via telephone landlines in provincial areas.

   Data Network Solutions has not been operating its business for many years.

THAILUXE ENTERPRISES posted a net profit of Bt93.47 million for the third quarter, down from Bt97.79 million in the same period last year.

THAI WACOAL reported a consolidated net profit of Bt95.34 million in the third quarter, up from Bt79.49 million in the same period last year.

   The company also reported a Bt102.3-million investment in Bangkok Tokyo Sock, raising its shareholding from 2.44 per cent to 12.22 per cent.

THAILAND IRON WORKS posted a net profit of Bt67.69 million in the third quarter, down from Bt97.11 million last year.

THAI HA posted a net profit of Bt22.95 million in the third quarter, up from Bt2.46 million in the same period last year.

MFEC reported third-quarter net profit of Bt37.69 million, down from Bt40.81 million in the same period last year.

SYNNEX (THAILAND) reported consolidated net profit of Bt28.47 million in the third quarter, down from Bt40.81 million in the same period last year.

METRO SYSTEMS CORP reported a consolidated net profit of Bt40.2 million in the third quarter, down from Bt44.19 million last year.
