Money Expo Chiang Mai starts

 About 23 financial institutions showcased their products and services at the event.

 Presiding over the event, Deputy Finance Minister Pradit Pataraprasit said that aside from the additional budget deficit, the government would press on mega-project investment to boost the 2009 economic growth to 4 per cent. For small and medium-sized enterprises in particular, the government has allocated over Bt10 billion for SME Power campaign, where SMEs can enjoy low-interest loans. The campaign would start on November 11.
