THAI may cancel flights to Johannesburg

Thai Airways International Plc is considering to terminate the Bangkok - Johannesburg route, which has been in service for two years.

THAI President Apinan Sumanaseni said that the company foresees tough times ahead for the aviation business next year as a result of the global financial crisis. THAI has to prepare for that by reducing expenses, probably through the cancellation of some routes that contribute low revenue. - The Nation
