
"We welcome The China Post as Asia News Network's newest member. The paper will further strengthen our cover of Northeast Asia," said Pana Janviroj, ANN's executive director, who went to Taipei to sign the agreement with the top executives of China Post.
At the signing were publisher of The China Post, Mr Jack Huang, and deputy director, Mr Daniel Huang; and Mr Werner vom Busch, regional representative for Media Project of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
The China Post is Taiwan's leading English-language newspaper founded in 1952.
"We are delighted to join ANN and hope to make positive contributions to our Asian peers," said Mr Daniel Huang.
