Simple, Elegant Housing

With more confidence seen for pur¬chasing residential projects at Rattanathibeth Road, Asian Property Development has succeeded in selling 25 units of its latest 216unit detached housing project, The City, at Rathanathibeth, worth Bt1.5 billion after the launch of the project last month.

Senior vice president Visanu Suchartlumpong said The City, designed under the modern contemporary concept, focuses on the upper market, with prices starting between Bt6 million a unit and Bt10 million a unit. The project is locat¬ed close to the new purple SkyTrain from Bang Sue to Bang Yai district.

"Our project is located close to the new masstransit system where some property developers are com¬ing up with condo¬minium projects. However, we want to promote a new concept for homebuyers wherein they buy detached houses close to the SkyTrain routes," he said.

The design theme of this project relates to the environment. The detached house looks simple but elegant. It uses long glass doors to link the inside with the landscaped green area outside.

The interior design also gives a wider feel to the first floor. This is easy to decorate and separate, and functions to suit the homeowner's lifestyle perfectly.

Visanu said the homeowner can design the first floor as a living room, work area, dining room or party area, depending on their lifestyle preferences.

The second floor has three bed¬rooms, two bathrooms and a fami¬ly area that is linked to the garden on the balcony by a long glass door.

"Our target customer for this project is in the age group of 35 years to 45 years who may be mar¬ried and have children. The design for this project also suits this tar¬get customer with a large clubhouse, which is located in the mid¬dle of the lake. We have invested Bt20 million to build this club¬house," he said.

Although the country's political uncertainty and economy is expect¬ed to result in slower growth, many homebuyers, at an average of 50 visitors a day, are still visiting this project.

The developer has succeeded in selling 25 units at an average price of Bt9 million a unit.

This proves that demand for res¬idential projects in Rattanathibeth Road is still strong, especially for detachedhousing projects, Visanu said.
