Thaksin convicted with two-year jail term but wife Pojaman acquitted

The Supreme Court convicted former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra for conflict of interest relating to the Ratchadapisek land case and sentenced him to serve two years in jail.
Codefendant and wife Khunying Pojaman was acquitted of all charges.
The high court ruled to sanction the land transaction and dismissed the prosecution request to seize the plot.
