
The moves came after two border clashes between Thailand and Cambodia killed two Cambodians and injured many Thai soldiers.
Thai ministry spokesman Tharit Jarungwat said, "we have convinced them to return on Thai Airways flights."
So far 432 of about 1,500 Thais in Cambodia have so far heeded the warning and arrived home on Wednesday, Tharit said.
No official evacuation plan is in place. However military planes remained on stand-by in case an evacuation plan needs to be implemented, he said.
