Diesel down 60 satang on Thurs

Oil retailers will cut diesel pump price by 60 satang, effective on Thursday.

PTT Plc, Bangchak Petroleum Plc and Shell have announced that diesel B2 at their stations will be Bt28.14 while diesel B5 will be Bt27.44.

Global oil prices have been volatile on demand uncertainties, as the financial crisis has hit many parts of the world.

Analysts expected crude oil prices to further slide to US$85-$90 in the next 7 days, as global economic slowdown should dent demand.

West Texas crude oil on Tuesday fell in New York, trading below $88 a barrel for a third day.
