Glow welcomes new CEO

 Heiskanen has over 15 years' experience in the international power generation business and working in Asia, and has spent the past 12 living in Thailand and working in the country's  power generation business. In the past four years, he served as executive vice president of Glow Group in charge of IPP Business Development, Construction Management & Engineering, Communication and Public& Government Affairs. He was previously Senior Business Developer for Tractebel Asia (now GDF Suez Energy Asia) based in Bangkok. Earlier in his career he was Managing Director of Laem Chabang Power Co Ltd.

Termote steered Glow through a successful period of six and a half years, during which time the company improved its annual results by over 50 per cent. This year, Glow has agreed new contracts which will increase its capacity by more than 50 per cent by 2012. Peter Termote will act as an advisor to the newly appointed CEO until December 1, 2008.
