At the end of Updated News At Noon programme on Channel 3, Chuwit pulled out the microphone attached on himself and jumped on Wisal Dilokwanit and hit him in the face once. Wisal fell down and Chuwit stomped on him before TV crew dragged him out.

After the attack, Wisal went to file a complaint against Chuwit at the Thonglor police station. Chuwit told reporters that he is not afraid of a legal case filed by Wisal because he would be only fined Bt500 for physical assault.

Chuwit said Wisal asked for it by asking provocative questions.

Nearly at the end of the live interview, Wisal asked Chuwit about the details of his plan to compete ight against Apirak Kosayodhin. Apirak is seen as the strongest candidate in the Bangkok governor election.

While asking the question, Wisal told his audience that Chuwit already gave him the details of his tactic behind the scene.

At the moment, Chuwit looked at Wisal furiously and asked him why he talked about the interview behind the scene, which was supposed to be off the record.

Wisal shot back with a question whether Chuwit behind the scene is the same with Chuwit on TV. Chuwit argued that what he said behind the scene should be left behind the scene and Wisal should ask him about his campaign plan instead. But Wisal kept on demanding Chuwit to say whether he is the same person behind the scene and in front of TV.

When Chuwit replied Yes, Wisal ended his programme immediately. The attack happened right after the end of the programme.
