He added he has ordered the company to cease the use of its Chinese powdered milk as a raw material to produce pasteurised milk product since September 17. Dutch Mill also has sent sample of powder milked and related finished products to test at three laboratory; SGS (Thailand) Co.,Ltd, OMIG and Central Lab (Thailand) CO., Ltd.
These three labs confirmed that every sample tested met European Food and Safety Standard and U.S Food and Drug Administration.
Meanwhile, Thai Food and Drug Administration also confirmed that all 11 samples pasteurized milk and yoghurt products from Dutch Mill factory in Nakhon Pathom province are safe for consumption.
