Ruchanee Nopmuang, BBL executive vice president, said customers who held the bank's debit and ATM cards could use them for topping up the BTS Sky Smart Pass via its 50 ATMs located at BTS stations, in its head office and at the Zenith branch on Silom Road.
In addition, the Blue Wave credit card, which functions as a BTS purse, can be topped up the same way. And if the customers hold a Be1st-BTS debit card, they can finish the whole transaction in one card by first making the payment and then topping up in the same card.
"Besides, travellers who hold BTS Smart Pass can also buy the 30-day travel pass for 20 trips, 30 trips or 40 trips via a BBL debit card or ATM card," Ruchanee said.
Ruchanee said there were currently 200,000 Be1st-BTS cardholders.
After launching this campaign, the bank aims to get another 50,000 cardholders by year-end. It plans to expand the number of ATMs that can be used for topping up BTS cards in areas such as Siam Paragon, Siam Square, and in bank branches located along the BTS routes.
