BBL acquires 31.1% in Tuntex

Bangkok Bank last week has acquired a 31.1 per cent stake in listed Tuntex Plc.

In the filing to the Securities and Exchange Commission, the bank said that after the transaction, its combined stake in the textile company totalled 31.2 per cent of the latter's paid-up capital.

Tuntex is under rehabilitation process.
