FDA test to be partially complete on Monday

Thailand's Food and Drug Administration expected the contamination tests on some food products would be completed on September 29.

It is ready to allow the resumption of marketing of the non-tainted products thereafter.

At present, manufacturers have been asked to withold the sale, for fear of safety.

Some of the products subjected to tests are M&M milk chocolate, Sneakers chocolate and Oreo white chocolate-coated wafer.

The test followed the melamine contamination in milk powder from China, which caused kidney stones and killed some children in the mainland China.
