These policies are to be implemented over three years, the remaining term of this government, policy drafter Noppadon Patama said yesterday.
He added that the government would not touch the issue of charter amendments.
The 28-page policy statement, which will be delivered in Parliament some time next week, will address 14 issues comprising eight main policies and 14 supplementary measures.
On the economic front, the government's priorities include the promotion of foreign investment, giving the underprivileged easy access to finance, reducing inflationary pressure and other problems related to the global financial volatility.
In terms of politics, the government will strive for national reconciliation and resolving border disputes.
The first draft of the policy statement is expected to be ready by tomorrow.
