It will pick one of two candidates to replace commissioner Artorn Chandavimol, who resigned.
The candidates to replace the three balloted-out commissioners are Chulalongkorn University economics professor and Economic and Social Advisory Council committee member Thawatchai Jittrapanun, deputy secretary-general of the House o Representatives Sompol Wanikpan, deputy secretary-general of the National Council of Young Buddhists Association Woradej Amornworapipat, former deputy supreme commander Surin Reng-arom, former CAT Telecom senior executive vice president Thamnoon Julamaneechoti and former Bangchak Petroleum managing director Sirichai Sakornrattanakul.
Thamnoon and Sirichai are the candidates to replace Artorn.
Commissioners will hold their seats for six years and may only serve one term.
However, until now, three commissioners are balloted out after three years.
The commission was established a little more than three years ago and originally had seven members.
Commissioners balloted out last year were chairman Choochart Promphrasid, Sethaporn Cusripituck and Rianchai Reowilaisuk. They continue sitting until replaced.
