THAI offers Bt7 billion bonds

Thai Airways International Plc will offer its Bt7 billion bonds during September 24-October 1.

The 1.5-year bond will offer the coupon rate of 4.77 per cent per annum, the 3-year bond at 5.05 per cent, and the 5-year bonds at 5.50 per cent.

THAI will use the proceeds to retire due loans and finance the purchase of aircraft of which lease contracts are expired.

Bank of Ayudhya, TMB Bank, BankThai, Tisco Securities, BT Securities and Thanachart Securities are underwriting the bond issues.
