Wedding service launched

Couples can look forward to a memorable, carefree wedding day with Impact Exhibition Management's new unit taking care of all the details.

"We hope that the new business will draw at least 30 occasions per year to use our facilities including ballrooms and exhibition halls," Paul Kanjanapas, managing director of Impact Exhibition Management, said yesterday.

The Wedding Inc has been operating for two months to a good reception from customers.

The new business is designed not only to serve local customers but also foreigners, who see Thailand is one of the best places to hold their marriage ceremony.

The Kingdom is particularly popular among Indian couples.

The Wedding Inc offers integrated services ranging from consulting, concept, food and decoration through wedding wear.

Targeted customers are from India and China.

The wedding business has faced tough competition, so organisers have to provide services that serve a client's unique demands, Kanjanapas said.

The company also has to form alliances with its competitors.

"The unit's success will encourage the company to expand to arranging weddings outside Impact Arena, or at a place selected by the customer, in three to five years," he said.

It has also scheduled activities such as workshops every two months as well as spa services.
