Steve Hemmett , Tesco Lotus CEO, said " I see today's collaboration as a message for the future, a message to our staff, our business partners and our customers. The message is clear - we will continue to press on to modernize all areas of our business organization, to consistently improve the way we do things and to strive to be the best."
According to SCB President Kannikar Chalitaporn, SCB has created a custom financial service package meeting the needs of Tesco Lotus and its employees. The "SCB Payroll Plus" package will make payroll payments available for every Tesco Lotus employee by 6am every payday.
SCB is also offering a special "Money Back" guarantee. In the event that any Tesco Lotus employee is unable to withdraw their salary from an ATM by the guaranteed time, SCB will pay 100 baht per account for the inconvenience.
In addition to payroll services, a wide range of personal financial products - Speedy Cash, Speedy Loans, home loans, fixed deposits, and life insurance - are offered to Tesco Lotus employees throughout Thailand. The comprehensive "SCB Payroll Plus" package will meet their financial needs and make all their financial transactions more convenient.
Currently, SCB is the number one payroll service provider in Thailand, providing services to more that 10,000 companies. The number of SCB payroll service clients has so far expanded by more than 20 per cent in 2008. The Bank has a target of 290 million baht in payroll services this year, and expects 25 per cent growth in 2009.
These efforts are part of SCB's diverse range of financial products and services responding to the needs of all customer groups, in line with the Bank's policy of being the Premier Universal Bank.
