KTB launches non-performing assets sale

Krung Thai Bang will hold its third annual KTB NPA Grand Sale event between September 1526. It hopes to sell more than 9,000 land plots worth Bt5 billion through 780 branches nationwide, with 1040 per cent discounts.



 

In 2008, the bank expects to sell a total of Bt15 billion of Nonperforming assets (NPAs).

Meanwhile, Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Co Ltd (BAM) on Wednesday inked a deal with Siam City Bank Plc for purchasing nonperforming loans of Bt1.4 billion. It also set a budget of Bt50 billion for purchasing non-performing loans from other financial institutions.
