
Prasert Thongdee, general manager of the company that operates Ajisen ramen restaurant, said 3-5 more outlets would be opened next year, in addition to 9 at present. More outlets would be opened at tourist destinations and provinces with high population density. Amid fierce competition, Ajisen spends 5 per cent of sale on marketing activities. Its main target are teenagers and students.
The company has so far this year reaped sale revenue of Bt55 million.
The franchise network has been existing in 12 countries including Japan (106 outlets), China (224 outlets), Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, USA, Australia, Malaysia and Canada.
