ITALIAN-THAI DEVELOPMENT signed three new contracts with the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority.

They are for improvements on Bang Bon 3 Road, worth Bt232.63 million; Samsung Engineering's construction of a sixth gas-separation plant in Rayong province, worth Bt472.14 million; and water-storage ponds for PTT Aromatics and Refining in Rayong province, worth Bt49 million.

KRUNG THAI BANK's board appointed Apisak Tantivorawong as president for another four-year term, effective November 8.

EMC was awarded a Bt475-million contract with Kamin Development to design and build the Aloft Hotel. The finish date for the project is October 31, 2009.

PONGSAAP's board approved an allotment of 23.2 million unsubscribed ordinary shares with a par value of Bt1 apiece to Chakkrapong Suteestarporn.
