The fourth resale home fair will be held between September 18 to 21 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre.

Khan Prachuabmoh, president of GH Bank, said that to celebrate its 55th anniversary, the bank will offer a zeropercent mortgage rate for the first three months. Members of the Government Pension Fund would get loans at the minimum retail rate minus 2.55 per cent for the first five months.
Those who want to deposit cash with GH Bank would be offered interest rate of 4.25 per cent per annum for a one-year deposit. Interest would be paid monthly. However, the minimum deposit is Bt55,000 with an upper limit of Bt55 million, Khan said.
The interest rate will be 5 per cent per annum for threeyear deposits. Interest will be paid halfyearly. Minimum deposit is Bt5,500 and maximum is Bt55 million.
GH Bank will also accept special savings, offering its present savings interest rate of 2.25 per cent plus 0.55 per cent. However, minimum initial deposit must be Bt55,000.
Homebuyers could book loans at the fair but they have to sign contracts before December 4.
Those who sign up for time deposits, have to invest their money before September 30.
The bank will also organise lucky draws with grand prizes of home and condominium.
Samma Kitsin, directorgeneral of the Real Estate Information Centre, said home prices will range from a few hundred thousand baht to Bt99 million.
He expected a large number of visitors despite the country's political crisis. "Homeownership is one of the basic needs for everyone," he said.
Moreover, the fair would be a good chance for homebuyers to sign up as tax incentives would cease on March 28, 2009.
Realestate developers will also offer promotions, including special discounts and free furniture for homebuyers.
Fox example, Supalai is offering a Bt50,000 discount for those who get loan approval from a bank to buy its condo. Property Perfect offers zero per cent interest rate for the first year.
Fullhouse promises to give free furniture worth Bt35,000 plus Bt50,000 discount on down payment.
The Real Estate Information Centre will also provide map service via Google Earth's Web searching of 700 condominiums, including those located near mass transit routes, Samma said.
